Cub Scout Registration Begins
Calling all Boys First to Fifth Grade, come and join Cub Scout Pack 824 for Fun and Education! We will hold registration throughout August and September. See the calendar section for dates. Registration will be held at the First Baptist Church of Mont Belvieu at 10110 Eagle Drive (next to the Barbers Hill High School) on these nights from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm. However if you are able to make it to one of these registrations sessions please feel email us and we will send you the registrations electronically. Pack 824 and Kids in Sports
One
of the toughest decisions a parent must make is what activities should my son participate in. It's hard to have to choose between sports and scouting. The leaders of Pack 824
understand this and as such have worked to allow your son time to do
both. Sports are important in the development of boys and so is
Scouting. Sports build team work, physical development and competition.
Scouts build team work, physical development, character development,
truth, honor, commitment to family and country, responsibility to learn to care for themselves and their families. Pack 824 leaders work hard to plan a
schedule that will allow our scouts to be in sports and still fulfill
their scout program. Before you rule out scouts, please take the time
to speak with our leaders and see if our program will work for you. Our
leaders will make every opportunity for you son to complete the tasks
necessary to advance through the various levels in scouts. See you at
the meetings!
