The Tennessee Regional Academy for Christian Education, Inc. (T.R.A.C.E.) was founded by Rev. Archer V. Corder in July, 2005, and commenced its first school term in August, 2005, when it opened its doors to all home school families across the State of Tennessee, the entire United States (where home school regulations permit), and to missionary families around the world. T.R.A.C.E. is based in Clinton, Tennessee. Rev. Corder, who originally founded Christian Outreach Academy of Oak Ridge, Tennnessee, in 1988 and served as its Administrator/ Principal for 17 successive academic terms, is the Principal/Administrator of the Tennessee Regional Academy for Christian Education, Inc. Mrs. Kimberly C. Young is the Business Manager and Bookkeeper for T.R.A.C.E.; and Mrs. Robin A. Rathmell is the Independent Study (Home School) Coordinator and Registrar of T.R.A.C.E.
The Tennessee Regional Academy for Christian Education, Inc. serves the State of Tennessee, the entire United States (where regional home school regulations permit), and missionary families worldwide, through its Independent Study (Home School) Program. It is affiliated with Accelerated Christian Education (School of Tomorrow) and is a member of the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS). It offers a complete independent study program for grades K through 12, including diagnostic and achievement testing, curriculum with parent-teacher guides, centralized record-keeping, attendance reporting, scheduling, graduation exercises, diplomas, progress reports, etc. One-on-one parent-student counseling and guidance counseling is also available. In addition, T.R.A.C.E. now holds various sciences labs on campus and, for the years ahead, is planning other enrichment classes and activities year-round for its families and students, as well as all other homeschooling families in and around East Tennessee.
In short, T.R.A.C.E. continues to offer the same high caliber of specialized care and commitment to excellence that families have always relied upon from Rev. Corder’s dedicated staff.
T.R.A.C.E., Inc. is now conducting open enrolment at all grade levels for the 2007-2008 School Term. Open enrollment will continue throughout the school term. Please telephone the school office for an enrollment appointment or to discuss any other questions you may have.
